Is WorldsBestCarpetRestorer.com the best choice for me?
Unlike many of our so called competitors we do not compete on price. Though after having us over you will agree with so many of our satisfied customers that we more often dont charge enough for our services. This is because all our products and services are researched developed and designed specifically to do the best job possible. So you may find a cheaper price but you will not get what you need or want done properly for the cheaper price.

Will you charge extra when you come out?
Hey, we know how you feel. We too have had scumbags do this to us. One guy we know of, advertises in the paper $10 per room yet when he gets to your place and starts working he ups the price to no less than $18 per room and feeds you a bullcrap of a story as to why. Another example of this type of shenanigans happened recently to us. We put our coffee machine in for a $60 service, a couple of weeks later, the repair shop says its ready just bring $450 or so and you can pick it up. And the worst thing, he didnt even fix what it went in for.

Thats why when you get a price from us we tell you a range explaining that it is the general range for best and worst case scenario based on the information you have given us. Rarely is it that we under quote, more often if our quote on your job is out it is over quoted. This is because we prefer to do only quality work, and never treat any two carpets as if they are the same.

What payment options does WorldsBestCarpetRestorer.com offer?
WorldsBestCarpetRestorer.com offers various prepayment methods and cash by the completion of the job.

Prepay methods available

How much notice should I give for a booking?
For the benifit of all concerned, especially you, we prefer you give us no less than 3 or 4 days notice. This is so that if any changes need to be made you have time to do so comfortably. However, we do take emergency type day before bookings if there is an available space and of course emergencies proper.

What guarantee is there that all stains will be removed?
With the exeption of may be a few toughies and any stains that have been set by previous cleaners inept attempts at stain removal, with the answers you give that help further customise the clean described here, you will wonder why you were worried about a guarantee.

Our carpet restoring experts can usually repair your carpets worst nightmare. YES that is those annoying returning stains removed for good guaranteed. Back in 1988 we developed the Neutralising penetraion clean NPC for short. This is a professional type of strip clean with a few differences.

As the name descibes the NPC solution is neutral because there is no need for harsh high pH chemicals or stripping agents to do this type of job. Those high ph chemicals most times only cause allergic reactions, rashes and injuries. I suffered a severe rash from one of those costless carpet cleaners a few years back whilst repairing a number of bleach marks they left in the carpet. And what's worest of all they claimed they used caustic soda. No wonder my legs lost the skin for a month or so. Imagine what you young children and babies are suffering with, I tell you honestly I was in so much pain I wished I could get morphine.

The NPC solution is applied whilst being gently but deeply agitated and loosening the dirt, oils, gum and other old sticky residues etc.

Whilst on the carpet the NPC solution strips out the foamy, oily and sticky residues left from general use and wrong cleaning methods often over many years.

Then the carpet is conditioned and treated similar to the 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioners. This endeavours to help avoid as with your hair over dryness plus also reduce static, popping and premature ageing.

Again your guaranteed to be free of those annoying stains permanently. AND best of all if you were just going to dye your carpets because the stains kept returning you may not need to dye them after this special clean and treatments we do.

How soon can I walk on my carpets?
Provided you have clean feet or, like some people I know, have indoor only shoes on, you can walk on them straight away. There are the occaisional times when a client is advised otherwise by us. But when that happens it is for good reason and is explained why and is usually a safety factor in relation to a specialised stain treatment. Even then it is normally an area you would be advised to avoid for a specified period of time.

Annoying Returning Stains Removed
with your CARPET RESTORATION PLAN

Hey you know those returning spots, YEAH those black brown or grey ones that keep coming back in a few days of having a carpet clean.

How soon will my carpets or upholstery dry?
On average it takes about half an hour for carpet. But to answer this one completely and honestly, it depends on several things.

For starters the personalty of your carpet or upholstery, we had one carpet that was very difficult to clean as it dried quicker than we could work the room. We litrally had two techs working as if joined at the hip, one prespraying the other operating the machine. This carpet was drying in under a minute with only a standard water extraction style clean and it was not a good day for getting things dry either.

Coupled with the effects of any previous cleans and treatments. The nature and intensity of the clean we do at the time. And finally the weather conditions, and more so the humidity. These are the key factors that effect every drying time. So much so that I have had the experience of getting the same drying time only twice, in one of the larger 4 plus Br homes I have been doing quarterly for over four years. And they were not in sequential cleans either.

It helps speed the process up if there is some circulating air flow in the rooms the cleaning occurrs. Fans suffice at creating circulation, airconditioners are good at helping extract moisture from the air which also can speed up the drying process. But air that is made too dry in an attempt to speed up the drying process, results in the fibers drying out too fast and some times too much, this can create a crispy feel.

Should I try to remove spills and stains myself or call you? And should it be seen to straight away or how long can it wait before it sets permenently?
Many spills and stains you can treat yourself successfully. There are a few simple rules to follow though.

First and foremost DO NOT use bleach or bleaching agents. This includes products containing optical briteners. They can do some real damage to your carpet and furniture. Second, never scrub the area, you will damage the fibers, thus reducing its life greatly compaired to the rest around them. And Never use a scrubbing brush.

Now depending on whether the spill is solids that can stain, or of liquid depends on the initial pickup. I know you are probably going (WELL DERR) at the moment, but there are a very few that need this spelt out to them and we do not knowingly descriminate nor omit people if there is no good reason for it.

Any way, in the case of solids or chewable food, once you have to carefully collected up any solids in the spill, so as to not spred the mark. For liquid, with an absorbent cloth or paper towel gently blot with care that when you pick the towel or cloth up you do so in a manner that works towards the center of the spill.

Now you are ready to carefully work on the mark. Application of the stain treatment, which is generally a liquid, is by spraying the mark, followed by blotting (and maybe a little gentle rubbing with your finger) of the area, always taking care to work towards the center of the mark so as to not spread it. Repeat this as much as needed taking care to not over wet or saturate the area as this tends to cause another mark to develope later when dry.

We have (and sell in Australia) a general purpose spotter that removes almost any marks and the ones it doesnt remove are normally the ones that need a proffessional to see to with specialised treatments. We also have treatment kits for certain specific jobs available.

Some spills do have a window or period of time in which you have to successfully treat them so they do not result in a stain that may never come out. Drinks like Cordial, softdrinks, and premixeds (rum and cola in a can), and certain foods like curry and those containing certian food colourants. This all have a restricted time frame in which to act to reduce if not guarantee no stain occurrs. This is about half an hour max. The swifter you act the less chance of a stain.

With petty much everything else, it doesnt matter if you see to it immeadiatly or waite 6 months before getting a proper colour restorer or stain proffessional to see to the mark or stain. It will do one of two things, go away (this is the more common), or stay as the right conditions for the colour of the stain to permenently dye the fiber and set before even immeadiate treatment could be applied.

The latter seems to occurr more often on carpets that have been cleaned with the products and chemicals used by our competitors. This is due to the fact that even though some of the blends out there clean and condition the fiber, they are not the right formulation to naturally protect them in the manner most suitable. Nor are they tested in a real situation totally equivelant to being used in the field of clientel with each batch made. Our products and chemicals are. This is reguardless of what method of cleaning is used with them.

DEFINITIONS
(1). NEUTRAL PENETRATION CONDITIONING, cleaners.
NPC a natural NEUTRAL water based emulsion cleaner and protectant in one. Used to encapsulate the oil foam grease grime and other junk left in your carpet (by ordinary carpet cleaners).

(2). high pH stripping agents, cleaners or chemicals.
Caustic soda is usually the choice used as a high ph stripping agent by those uninformed people who try to get grease and grime out of carpet when it is not needed. EVERY TIME high ph stripping agents are used they cause damage to the material.

TEST THIS FACT for yourself. WE DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS. But if your curious just grab a tablespoon of caustic soda put it in a glass of cool water. Then stick your finger in it about 20 seconds. AND SEE what happens. Your skin will start to dissapear just the same as the fibres and dyes in the materials you normally us it on.
